At Dongguk University Los Angeles - an accredited acupuncture school, Dr. Lena presented a lecture on cardiology for doctorate course students. All sessions were held in English and it was a fascinating time to hear insightful inquiries from many colleague acupuncturists and students.
It was broadcast over ZOOM so that students in New York and other parts of California could access it, and it was a fantastic opportunity to discuss and share the clinical questions about cardiology. Dr. Lena particularly concentrated on treating well-known ailments such as hyperlipidemia, angina, and heart attacks with eastern medicine.

Why does eastern medicine regard the heart as an organ strongly associated with stress?
Then, how can we assist folks in today's demanding society in maintaining their heart health?
How can we, as acupuncture physicians, provide quantitative exams for the heart system?

It was a fantastic opportunity to speak with students about contemporary Chinese/Korean traditional medicine questions.
